Net Service, official partner of Infrachain's New Year's Governance Meeting 2019

Net Service is sponsoring the Governance meeting, organised by Infrachain in Luxembourg, at the House of Startups (LHoFT), on Tuesday 15th January 2019.

As previously reported, in 2018 the Bologna-based company became part of Infrachain and Net Service's full member status to the community has granted immersion into a highly specialized environment. This connection strengthens the company's Research and Development Center, most notably in Blockchain, a field the company has been investing in for some time.

The Infrachain event will take place on Tuesday 15th January 2019 in Luxembourg at the House of Startups (LHoFT)

The location is significant as LHoFT is a key technological hub and centre of excellence in Luxembourg. The hub is designed to create a meeting point between the national and international Fintech community and to foster new business growth towards the development of solutions able to shape the world of tomorrow.

The main objective of Infrachain's New Year's Governance Meeting 2019 is both to congregate the various committees which form the Infrachain governance system and to source new appointments of committee members.

The Bologna-based company has gained recognition thanks to Giustizia Metropolitana®

The awards event, which took place on 4, 5 and 6 July 2018 at Lake Garda, Italy, aims to put a spotlight on the most innovative projects in the Italian digital sector. The event was sponsored by the Digital 360° Group, a network promoting a culture of technological innovation and entrepreneurship within the digital field.

For this year’s Awards, in its 3rd edition, the selection of nominees considered the originality of the idea, its wider benefits, and replicability. Net Service wins bid from the Ministry of Justice

Net Service has secured, last month, a €21M contract to maintain and develop the Civil Courts online Case Management for the Italian Ministry of Justice.

The European bid, secured to maintain the IT system, is worth over 21 million euros and will soon be extended to the office of the Justice of the Peace. The project is partially financed under the National Operational Program Governance and Institutional Capacity Fse-Fesr 2014-2020.

The contract, signed recently by Net Service S.p.A., employs the Bologna-based company to provide five years of development and related services.It includes the continuation of a specialised Competence Center, system maintenance and support through know-how sharing.

Net Service reaffirms its position as an industry leader in the development of IT systems tailored for the Justice sector.

With this successful bid, the company reiterates its role as “a benchmark for integrated information systems for e-Government at national and international level”, says Gianluca Ortolani, CEO of Net Service S.p.A..

FlossLab becomes part of the Bologna-based company, reaching an important milestone for Net Service

FlossLab is an IT group operating as a spin-off from the University of Cagliari. Among its various assets, the company boasts a laboratory of excellence dedicated to Blockchain.

As explained by Gianluca Ortolani, CEO of Net Service SpA., thanks to the acquisition of the Sardinian company, Net Service "becomes the reference point concerning the design and development of application solutions in the cyber security field and, more specifically, a technological centre specialised in Blockchain solutions. The transaction is part of the Group's Strategic Plan which will include, among other things, further acquisitions with a view to grow for greater integration."

Being a majority shareholder of FlossLab allows Net Service to upgrade and complete. its Research and Development Center

The Research and Development Center, already the cornerstone of Net Service's, corporate strategy, thus becomes of primary importance in an increasingly strategic international outreach for the Bologna-based company.
The acquisition of the Cagliari university spin-off ended on 20 June 2018. The advisor of the operation was Studio BOCG Associati.

Net Service and Treedom Collaborate to Aid Reforestation in Kenya

Bologna to Kenya in the name of environmental sustainability with the help of a partnership between Net Service and Treedom. The Bologna-based company has joined the project of reforestation by planting eleven trees in Kenya, a choice made by Net Service towards sustainability and the principles of ISO 14001 certification held by the company since 2012.
The Net Service forest is online and you can follow the growth of planted trees.

Support for the Treedom reforestation project is aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and is part of an eco-responsible ethos held by the company.

There are eleven trees in total, an avocado tree and ten grevillea trees, which are now growing in Kenya. Net Service has chosen to plant these as they collectively absorb around 8.500 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere. This quantity compensates twice the company's indirect emissions footprint for 2017.

In a world which consumes resources in half the time the Earth can regenerate them, Net Service is committed to reducing its environmental impact. With ISO 14001 certification a further stimulus for initiatives aimed at safeguarding the environment.

Net Service has chosen Treedom because the project is in-line with the company's values. The Florentine company, founded in 2010, is globally recognised and, in the last three years, has already planted more than 400,000 trees in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy.
